Campaign for a Radiotherapy Unit at the Lister

 
Stevenage Labour Party, in partnership with the Comet, has re-launched the ‘I’m backing the Lister!’ campaign, to fight for a much-needed Radiotherapy Unit at the Lister.

 

Sharon Taylor, Leader of the Council, said: 

 

“Patients now have to travel to Mount Vernon, on some of the busiest roads in the country. To be expected to do that when you're feeling very ill is totally wrong and if you're reliant on public transport it's even worse” she said, adding "the sooner we can get a unit in Stevenage the better. I hope that all residents will support our campaign.”
